RADAR data included in B2FIND

Research data published on RADAR are included in the recently improved version of EUDAT's B2FINDservice (Organization: RADAR). Currently, the metadata of research data publications from 36 communities are searchable and accessible in B2FIND under a common search interface.

The basis for the availability of RADAR metadata in B2FIND is the operation of an OAI provider by FIZ Karlsruhe. Via this provider, the metadata of all RADAR data publications are offered for harvesting according to the standardized Open Archives Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH). Harvesting RADAR metadata through services such as B2FIND increases the dissemination, visibility, and discoverability of RADAR research data within the scientific community. In addition, RADAR-using institutions can also harvest their own metadata as a set (e.g. RADAR contract) for inclusion on own websites or publication lists.
