As of 08 August 2023, RADAR Cloud is available in software version 1.17.7.
The new software features the following improvements:
As of now, in addition to RADAR's own citation style, other established citation styles are available via a drop-down menu on the data publication´s landing page: APA, Harvard, MLA, Vancouver, Chicago, and IEEE. The "Copy" button allows to conveniently copy these citations to the clipboard in an accessibility-friendly manner. (please see the Note below*)
"Reminder from RADAR:..." system emails are now also sent to those subcurators who created the dataset. Previously, these automated reminder emails informing about the soon end of the storage period for "pending" datasets in the temporary storage (6 months for RADAR Cloud) were sent only to the responsible curators of the workspace and to the administrators.
The pagination function for our steadily growing data publication list has been redesigned to be more user-friendly.
*Note: If the available citation styles are not sufficient, we recommend using Crosscite's DOI Citation Formatter. After entering the DOI of a data publication, you can choose from a variety of different citation styles there. Crosscite is a joint service of several DOI registration agencies, including Crossref, DataCite and mEDRA.
