RADAR4Memory lecture at the HeFDI Data Week

As part of the HeFDI Data Week, Felix Bach, Head of the Research Data Department at FIZ Karlsruhe, will give a lecture on ‘Networked Past: The NFDI4Memory DataSpace and RADAR4Memory for FAIR research data in the historical sciences’. 

The online lecture will take place on Wednesday, 25 June 2025 10:30 am - 11:45 am. The talk will be in German language.

The talk will offer an overview of the Englisch emerging NFDI4Memory DataSpace, which is currently under development. The focus will be on RADAR4Memory, a research data repository designed to support FAIR principles in historical scholarship. The talk will explore how these infrastructures aim to facilitate sustainable, interoperable, and trustworthy handling of research data in the historical sciences.

The HeFDI Data Week as online event is aimed at researchers, educators, students, and anyone interested in learning more about FAIR Data and Code and challenges coming along with that. From the 25th to the 27th of June, including the nationwide Digitaltag, will be covering a broad variety of topics related to data and code management: disciplinary tools and services, especially from NFDI consortia, legal and ethical aspects on the use of data, and not least Artificial Intelligence and data management.
