FIZ Karlsruhe at the PIDfest 2024, Prague

From June 11 to 13, the international PID community will meet at PIDfest 2024 in Prague. The three-day conference on persistent identifiers (PID) is organized by the Czech National Library of Technology (NTK) and Australian Research Data Commons (ARCD). In numerous presentations and workshops, experts will address the question of how persistent identifiers can promote world-class research infrastructures and thus accelerate research and innovation.

In the session "Setting the Stage for FAIR Digital Objects (FDO) in research" on Wednesday, June 12 (16:00 - 17:00), Felix Bach, Head of the Research Data Department at FIZ Karlsruhe, will talk about FAIR Signposting as a lightweight implementation of FDOs and also report on how this approach has already been implemented in RADAR.
