RADAR at the 25th DINI Annual Conference, September 18-19, Potsdam

The 25th Annual Conference of the German Initiative for Networked Information (DINI) e.V. will take place on September 18 and 19, 2024 at the University of Potsdam under the motto “Shared Infrastructures for Open Science”.

At the event, the topic of open science in the field of information infrastructures, academic libraries, IT centers and media facilities at universities and non-university research institutions will be discussed together with invited experts.

RADAR will be involved in two program items:

• At the poster presentation on Wednesday, September 18, we will present our poster “On the right track: Demand-oriented development of the research data repository RADAR”. Using a timeline, it illustrates RADAR's current range of functions and services.
• On the same day, together with representatives of the University of Potsdam and the RDMO team, we will be co-organizing the workshop “Open Science in Brandenburg - Shared Services for the Management, Archiving and Publication of Research Data” (Abstract, in German language). We will present the project “Institutionalized and Sustainable Research Data Management in Brandenburg (IN-FDM-BB)”, which is funded by the state of Brandenburg, and discuss its model for cooperative and sustainable research data management with the participants. As part of the project, the research data services RADAR and RDMO, among others, are offered centrally for joint, cross-university use. In addition, Thomas Hartmann, research associate in the research area Intellectual Property Rights, will organize the workshop “Research-related services for research data management: Opportunities through the new good scientific practice” (Abstract, in German language) on Thursday, September 19.
